I am starting this blog in order to illustrate the ongoing power struggle in Samoa that has resulted in persecution of many villagers. These villagers are faced with many hardships as they are forced out of their villages by their chiefs because of their religion.
Federal law in Samoa states that people have the right to free practice however, it is the village chief that calls the shots in most villages.
